We are looking to fill the following open positions:

PhD Position (EG 13 TV-L, Full Time)

We are looking for a dedicated and talented student to join our international research team at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.

• Tasks: Research fundamental problems in machine learning. Possible research topics include theoretically based improvements to ML models, ML for optimization, efficient GPU algorithms, etc.
• Requirements: Very good degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or a related discipline. Good programming skills, ideally in Python and C++/Cuda. Excellent programming skills are essential.
